Top Christmas gifts for men 2012 #1

Hey ladies, do you also feel that it is way more difficult to find suitable Christmas gifts for the guys in our life then it is to find something for us girls (something sparkly will always do for us).
As December has started now and therefore the countdown for xmas is running
I thought today that it might be a good idea to share a little bit what I have found so far:

This agenda is also quite on top of my list. I LOVE the idea of a book teaser worked in an agenda. It gives us the first paragraphs of a famous book and it is up to us whether we are going to start on it yes or no. It is a fantastic way to keep up reading, to finish the tbr books on the classics list (note to self)and to have some serious accomplishments by the end of the week, as the next one is already teasing around the corner, or, well, behind the following page.

What do you think?

Another thing, also to do with books and a little bit more of a gadget is the kindle.
Maybe not a substitute for real books for everyone but it certainly suits into every pocket and travel suitcase without consuming too much space (men like to travel light.).

When I was browsing the web for more ideas I bumped into those:

Binoculars can be quite pricey in fact but there are some budget options as well. Prices range from approx 50 EUR - 2000 EUR. The latter is perhaps for the more advanced user but I am sure the more affordable ones serve well for walks in the nature and picnics to be ahead of everything running and flying around...

How about a nice and cool hat? I mean, I know that most men I know are more concerned about their hair then I am and they are all like don't touch it, please and no hat for me, I do not want to get flat hair..... Well. What if the hat is too cool to be left at home AND keeps him warm?

I also like this one:

And for the men who are more country:
And the cool thing: They are even available with earflaps :-)

What do you think?

Happy weekend!

  1. So true that men are more difficult to buy for. Maybe because we often buy gifts that we would like so we have lots of ideas for ladies and girls. The agenda is brilliant - must have a closer look - thanks!

Yes, I agree, we ladies also keep the conversation going what we like and dislike a little bit more than men, I find....

      Happy weekend for you!!

  2. LOVE the first one! I want that for me :-)

My boyfriend had actually given me a few ideas for him this year. Woo hoo! I do find men are the hardest to buy for though. My brother is the absolute worst, but dad and grandpa are difficult too!

    1. Oh, thank you! Me too ;-) But I thought it is also a unisex idea, and some men I know at least do actually like books :-)
Aw, that is great that he gave you some ideas already. Every year I am done with all prezzies for all my girlfriends, and female family members, and then the missing ones: Brother, dad and male friends.

  5. Hey Gareth,

thank you for visiting my small blog! Glad you like my ideas (*feel honored as a man tells me they're good, ha*) I adore handmade gifts and I have a lot of things planned or already done, such as paintings and self built dream catchers.
