After I went to move the horse a little bit I had something fantastic to look forward to yesterday:
I had my oldest friend visiting me for the weekend.
We know each other for ages and most of the time we were apart due to the fact that I was continuously drawn to live in other places, mostly far-away-from-home places.
Who knows where I will be going next...
That is why I always enjoy the time we have together, to catch up, laugh, sharing old memories, and making plans.
Or, in this case ignore the cold and head towards the beach and go for a nice and long walk with the dogs.
It was 2.5 degrees below zero and freezing cold. The sand was covered with a bit of snow, the baltic sea was not icy though (though we have been there).
This is also why Josie thought it'll be nice to call off winter and take a bath.
Brrrr.
Kuno was not a bit better and decided to take a whole swim and was completely wet afterwards.
Me and the dogs.
On the other side you can see the coast of Southern Denmark.
My friend Hanna and her dog Kuno, a cute Jack Russel terrier addicted to dog treats. He would not stop barking as long as I had any in my pockets.
Because that went a bit annoying at some point I raised my white flag and surrendered. 1:0 for Kuno.
Hanna and me.
Completely equipped with many layers of warm winter clothes, scarves and hats.
The sun is setting deep.
Time to go home, and have a good cup of tea.
Hope you all had a nice weekend!
Love,
Svenja

You have very brave doggies!!! :) I love being near water, even if it is cold.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love water too and I try to get to the sea as often as possible!
DeleteBrrr, crazy dogs! I would not want to go in that water! Looks beautiful though.
ReplyDeleteUhhh super cold, but they just seem to have different perception on temperatures maybe?!
DeleteIt was super beautiful -- and we went just before sunset so that we could watch the sun turning the sky into shades of orange and pink! Gorgeous!

That's certainly cold! Beautiful pictures and you both look cosy in your warm scarves. I wanted to let you know that I have just published the post thanking you for the Versatile Blogger Award where I have answered your questions. Thanks again!
